M y dear children   Today I am going to tell the story about learning.  There was a king ruling in a country.  His name is Uthanapathan and he has two queens. The first queen’s Name is Suneethi and the second queen’s name is Sruchi. The king has two male children. That is the first queen’s child name is Duruvan and the second queen’s child name is Uttaman. One day that king was sitting on his Royal seat with his second wife Sruchi keeping Uttaman on his lap.   Seeing, this Duruvan running to his father and tried to sit on his father's lap, but his second wife who under being jealous natures she pushes Duruvan and said “O child, if you want to sit on Uthman’s father's lap or wish to rule this country, for that. either you should be born from my womb, or you have to perform penance. go away” telling this she pushed him.   Dear children today’s story is about nobleness: There was a Rishi lived in India and he was a famous harbinger-poet in Sanskrit literature. Diligent practice always wins the Race

Children today’s story is about diligent practice. There was a king ruled in a country named Kanyakubja. (Modern day Kannauj) One day he went for hunting to a forest with troops. After finish his hunting he felt so hungry and he told a Soldier to find some food like fruits or something in this forest. That soldier went around and he found a hermitage and there were some rishis were living. So, he went to that hermitage and asked a prime Rishi “O swamy the Kanyakubj Maharaja with troops has come for hunting to this forest, our king is having hungry can we have some food to us?” As soon heard the message from the soldier, that Rishi said very happily bring him we will provide food to you all.” That soldier went to the king and told the details. All went to that hermitage the king met the rishi and he conveyed his humble salutations, and that rishi also greet him and his troops,and gave seats to them. The symbol of devotion

Once upon a time there was a saint lived in Madura. He is a poet and musician. His name is Surdas and a Krishna’s devotee. His composition songs are dedicated to Sri Krishna. Saint Surdas cannot see the material world. Because he was a blind man. He lived in 15th century. He composed more than 8000 songs All his songs are ocean of melody and all his songs are in Hindi language. Once there were a pandit living in a kingdom.   Who was a doctorate in history. He was a very famous to give lecture.  He will give lots of historical lectures in his own and the neighboring kingdoms in front of the Monarchs and public.  He was a winner of immense of awards, and medals by all royal lineages and also from researchers in his own and other kingdoms.  So, he will think in his mind that he is the only one the winner of so much awards, and gold medals, but others are uneducated. This will reflect when he has chat casually with outsiders, or his friends. The Art of Hospitality

A sage lived with his family in a forest. The sage’s name is Jamadhagni, his wife’s name is Vasuki and he had four sons. The fourth son’s name is Parasurama. Sage Jamadhagni used to teach Vedas and Sastras to a number of disciples. All the children will stay there and study in that Gurukulam. (That is like boarding school) Even the princes also will stay and study along with other children.   Whether the teacher or king, they will not think about ups and down. All were treated same. Parasurama also one of Jamadhagni's disciples in that Gurukulam. Parasurama was being very smart, attentive and diligently studding student.
