Nobleness:

Dear children today’s story is about nobleness:
There was a Rishi lived in India and he was a famous harbinger-poet in Sanskrit literature. His name is Valmiki Rishi, and author of Srimat Ramayanam.  This Rishi is a Sri Rama devotee, and he is called Adhi Kavi.
The Epic Ramayanam says the greatness of the Rama, Bharatha, Lakshmana and Chathurkana brothers and their nature of remarkable superior nobleness.
Prince Bharatha is very much love and devotion on his elder brother Rama. Once Bharata along with his younger brother Chathurkana had gone to his grandfather’s house for their vacation.
One day Bharata's mother who is a great astronomy and she is particularly very much love and affectionate with Rama, and in general she is affectionate with all children  she was standing in her palaces attic and watching the sky atmosphere, when she was watching the sky she found a comet. (Val Nakshatram)  She came to know that if it falls down the king's position will be in danger and worst in the country, also known for 14 years the country will be without king, and drought, the country will suffer. as soon she knew that rule of astronomy she was so confused and went to the palace worshiping place and she worshipped the ancestors. Co incidentally she came to know about the monarch announcement about Rama’s crowning ceremony through her stepmother and friend koony and she has lost her sense.
According her stepmother kooni's advises she asked to the Monarch the two old boons, that   Rama should leave the country immediately and he should go to forest for 14 years, and her son Bharatha should have the crown and rule the country. As soon as the king heard this kind of painful of the boons from her, the Monarch had given the boons as she asked and fall in the death bed. Without losing the time she has sent order of the Monarch, that Rama should excel14 years to forest from the country. As soon that heard the order from his father, Rama went to forest accompanied by her wife Sita and his brother Lakshmana.
Unaware of all these events, when Bharatha returned from his grandfather’s house, and when  entering into the country, he was seeing all bad omens and worriedly he went to see his mother. He heard the painful message from his mother, and Bharatha's sorrow arose that his father's dead and expulsion of his brother, and he could not do his father's last right too. Bharata was deeply distressed  about his father's last word on his deathbed. He was thinking about other brothers that elder brother Rama according to father's word he refused the throne and went to forest, and another brother is lucky to follow to Rama, and last brother most lucky has his right to do father's lastright ceremony, yet I am the one like a animate yet inanimate person. Thinking about his misfortune his sorrow rose and bust out tears from his eyes Bharatha's sorrow knew no bounds. He lamented loudly, rolling on the ground. The minister Sumitrar came and convinced him, but he was not pacified by the minister's words, and he told the minister that give announcement to the people of Ayodhi that he is leaving to forest tomorrow to see Rama and will bring him back to the country.
The next day he removed his royal dress and wearing thulasimalai and he dressed up as a hermit and started to the forest to meet Rama. Accompanied by all the citizens of Ayodhi, and Dasaratha’s queens,Vasister, and the minister of the royal court, and the Mithilapuri king Janaka. Once he saw Rama he busted out with grief and he embraced him and he told the sad news to him.
Rama heard the painful news of their father's death, there were utter moan of grief. After finished the ritual of their father's death ceremony Bharata requested Rama return to Ayodya as emperor. But Rama firmly refused on the grounds that such a deed would be unrighteous. But Bharatha did not listen Rama's word again and again he pleaded Rama to return to country. But Rama refused.   At that time king Janaka explanted to Bharatha, about Rama's love on Bharatha and Rama's duty and he will not cross his own discipline and righteous. After hear the king Janaka's advice then Bharata gave up his efforts to take Rama back to Ayodya before the fourteen-year exile pass. He was Deeply disappointed. However, Bharata said to Rama that “Brother during these 14 years I will not enter to Ayodya and I certainly won't take the throne.
More he said to Rama "Brother kindly give me your Paduka it will be in Royal throne, and I will govern the country as your representative from Nandigram and I will stay there. If you are not return to country after over the 14th years on time certainly, I will immolate myself it is my promise. Rama said “My dearest Bharata! I bow my head for Your love and affectionate nature on me, Yes Certainly I would return promptly at the end of the fourteen-year exile and takeover the throne.
After acquire a promise from Rama Bharata took Rama’s ‘Paduka’ holding them on his head and he walked barefooted to Nandigram. Once he reached to Nandigram made a hermitage to live for them and kept the Paduka on the royal seat  celebrated the crowning ceremony of the Rama's Paduka, (that is called Paduka Pattabishegam) but Bharatha was neither ascent the throne nor he has not being as a king. Bharatha continuously longed for Rama's return. During this time, he did not forgive his mother Kaikeyi, and diligently served Kausalya, Rama's mother, and Sumitra, Lakshmana's mother.
The koodalmanikyam temple in the Kerala state is the only temple to Bharata in India.
Bharatha is an ardent devotee of Sri Rama he is the first Alwar in the earth (Bharathat alwar). he took Rama's patuka holding them on his head and he walked barefooted to Nanthigramam that is his devotional merits! the symbol even now we can see all the Vishnu temples the “Sadaari” with Sri Rama paduka on top of the Sadaari.
The greatest instruction of the Ramayana. both Rama and Bharatha refused a position of power and the pleasures of the royal palace. No jealousy,  no greed, outstanding supreme among the four brothers: love, duty and respect, simplicity, in every sense of their life style, was their symbol of honor! Srimad Ramayanam is a greatest university of a mankind
Oh! Children, today we have learnt that about the noble and righteous way of living.
This story is based on Avvaiyar’s Aatthichoodi. song Oppuravozhugu!
